SMSRAVE developer API

Send SMS through your own Android phone and read your messages, contacts and polls from your own systems.

Postman collection

Every endpoint with example requests and answers, ready to run. Import it into Postman, open the collection's Variables tab and paste your keys.

  1. In Postman choose Import and drop the .json file.
  2. Set apiKey (Dashboard → API access) and, for the phone, phoneUrl and phoneApiKey (Developer app on the browser desktop).
  3. Run Account & plan to check the key, then Send SMS.

Tip: the Developer app on the phone's browser desktop downloads the phone collection with your phone's address and key already filled in.

Website API v1

From anywhere on the internet. Messages are queued and your phone sends them on its next sync.

Phone developer API

Straight to the phone over your Wi-Fi. Sends immediately, no internet needed.

SMS fetch URL

The phone calls your server on a schedule and sends whatever messages you return.

Website API v1

Base URL: http://localhost:3000/api/v1 Auth header: Authorization: Bearer <API_KEY>

Your API key is under Dashboard → API access. Reading messages, contacts and polls needs an active Regular plan; sending works on any active account.

GET /meAccount, plan and expiry
POST /sms/sendQueue SMS — to (numbers, max 500), message, store (true/false)
GET /commands?limit=50Status of the SMS you queued
GET /messages?box=inbox&limit=50Synced SMS (box: inbox or sent)
GET /contacts?q=johnSynced contacts
GET /pollsSynced SMS polls
curl -X POST http://localhost:3000/api/v1/sms/send \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer <API_KEY>" -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"to":"+2348012345678","message":"Hello from my app"}'
→ {"status":"ok","queued":1,"ids":["…"]}

Phone developer API (local network)

Turn on the web server in SMSRAVE on the phone, open the address it shows on a computer on the same Wi-Fi, then open the Developer app for the key. Five wrong keys lock the caller out for 5 minutes.

Base URL: http://<phone-ip>:<port>/api/dev Auth header: Authorization: Bearer <PHONE_KEY> (or a key parameter)
POST /sms/sendSend now — to (max 100), message, sim (0/1/2), store
GET /contactsPhone contacts — q, offset, limit
GET /smsPhone SMS — box, thread, since (ms), offset, limit
GET /pollsPolls with options and counts
GET /poll?id=1One poll with its last 100 votes
GET /sendersSenders on the phone (no credentials)
POST /sender/createNew sender — type sms, email, webhook or bulksms
POST /forwarder/createNew forwarder — title, senderid, phone/content match

POST bodies are form fields (application/x-www-form-urlencoded). Errors answer {"status":"error","message":"…"}.

SMS fetch URL

Set your URL in the app (Settings → SMS fetch URL) or under Dashboard → API access, and how often the phone checks. Each time the phone sends:

POST <your URL>
Authorization: Bearer <account sync token>
Content-Type: application/json

{ "type": "sie" }

Answer with a messages field holding a JSON array as a string; each item has to and message. Return "[]" when there is nothing to send.

{ "messages": "[{\"to\":\"+2348012345678\",\"message\":\"Hello from my server\"}]" }

App sync API

The endpoints the Android app uses to sync with this website (sign in, upload SMS/contacts/polls, pending SMS, config, support tickets, sender store). They are all in the Postman collection, folder 3.

POST /api/authEmail + password → account sync token
POST /api/smsUpload SMS; answers SMS queued on the website
POST /api/pendingsmsSMS waiting for the phone to send
POST /api/configWebsite senders, forwarders, extraction rules, campaigns
