Start to use SMSRAVE

Install am, sign in, send your first SMS

Steps in this video
  1. You need Android phone wey get SIM card, the SMSRAVE app from smsrave.com/download, and free account.
  2. Open the app and allow am to use your SMS. All your chats go show for the Messages tab. Tap any chat to read am and reply.
  3. To write new message, tap the round plus button. Pick contact or type number, choose the SIM, then send.
  4. The shortcut row go open senders, forward rules, bulk SMS, reminders and content extraction.
  5. For Settings, sign in with your SMSRAVE account so your messages, contacts and polls go sync with the website.
  6. For smsrave.com, sign in with the same account. Any message wey you queue for Send SMS, your phone go deliver am.

Send bulk SMS campaign

One message to hundreds of people, from your own SIM

Steps in this video
  1. For the Messages screen, tap Bulk SMS for the shortcut row.
  2. Add the people wey go receive am. Type the numbers, put comma between dem, or tap Choose contacts.
  3. Or save your list as CSV file and select am here. Any number wey repeat, e go remove am.
  4. Write your message. The counter go show how many characters and how many SMS each person go receive.
  5. Tap Send campaign. SMSRAVE go dey send am small small, safe, and e go show you how far e don go. You fit also start campaign from your dashboard.

Senders: where your message dey go

Steps in this video
  1. Sender na destination. Forward rules and extraction rules dey use am deliver message, and any sender wey you create for phone or website go dey sync.
  2. For phone, tap Sender for the shortcut row, choose the type wey you want.
  3. Fill the details. For email, put title, the outgoing server, the SMTP port, SSL, your account and password.
  4. For the website, open dashboard, then Senders, and pick the type: SMS, email, webhook, custom HTTP API or bulk SMS.
  5. Give am name, the numbers wey e go send to, and the SIM. 'Only when there is no internet' go make am SMS backup.
  6. Click Create sender. E go show for your list, and Send test go check say e dey work.
  7. Webhook dey post every message go your URL, signed with your secret. Custom HTTP API dey connect gateway like Termii or Twilio. Or install sender wey don ready from the Sender store.

Forward SMS by himself

Go email, webhook or another phone

Steps in this video
  1. E get two parts: sender, wey be where the message go go, and forward rule, wey go decide which message go go there.
  2. First, tap Sender and choose type. For email, make sure say you get your mail server details for hand.
  3. Give the sender title, then put the outgoing server and SMTP port. Turn on SSL if your provider dey use am.
  4. Put the sender account, nickname, and the password or app code. Then save.
  5. Now open Forward rules. Give the rule name and choose which SIM e go dey listen to.
  6. Choose wetin e go match: all messages, or only the ones from one number or the ones wey get some text inside.
  7. Pick the sender wey you create and save. Any SMS wey match go forward the moment e land.

Run SMS poll

Collect vote by SMS and see the result live

Steps in this video
  1. People go vote by sending SMS to your phone number. Each option get keyword, and SMSRAVE go count the votes for you.
  2. For the app, open the Polls tab for down, then tap Create poll.
  3. Put poll title and the maximum vote for each number; zero mean no limit. Then add each option with the keyword wey match am.
  4. The result go dey update as votes dey enter, for phone and for website under Polls.
  5. Recent votes go show who vote, wetin dem choose, and when.
  6. To reply voters by himself, open Settings, then Auto responder, choose your poll. Write the reply; the sender and message go fill by themselves.

  8. Auto responder: choose Off, All messages, or one of your polls, write the reply, then tap Save.

Browser desktop — you no need install anything for computer

Steps in this video
  1. For the app, start the web server. E go show address for your Wi-Fi network.
  2. For your computer, open that address for any browser wey dey the same Wi-Fi, then put your app PIN to pair am.
  3. All your apps dey here: messages, contacts, phone, notes, files, polls, remote view and more.
  4. Read and reply chats with your keyboard. The phone go send am from the SIM wey you choose.
  5. Remote view go show your phone screen live for the computer.
  6. Write notes, move files and share clipboard between your phone and PC.

Send SMS from your app — website API

Call smsrave.com from your system; your phone go send am

Steps in this video
  1. Your application go call smsrave.com with your API key. The message go enter queue for your account, and your phone go send am when e sync next.
  2. Open dashboard, then API access, and copy your API key. Keep am secret, and regenerate am if e ever leak.
  3. Download the Postman collection here, import am for Postman, then paste your key for the collection variables.
  4. To send, make POST request go the SMS send endpoint, with your key for the Authorization header, and the numbers and message for the body.
  5. Then check the commands endpoint. Each message go show queued, then sent when your phone don send am.
  6. You fit send to reach five hundred numbers for one request. Set store to false if you no want copy for the phone. Make the phone dey online and signed in.

Send SMS from your app — phone API
